If he is eating a good quality large breed puppy food, he should not need vitamin supplementation. If you want to give him one, you can't go wrong with Pet Tabs ( https://www.zoetisus.com/products/dogs/pet-tabs.aspx ). A joint supplement, such as Cosequin ( https://www.cosequin.com/ ) or Dasuquin ( https://www.dasuquin.com/en/products/ ), can also be started. Additionally, keep Brandy lean and active.

Great question. The most important thing is to pick a good quality diet...either science diet, royal canin, iams, or Purina. I would recommend feeding large breed puppy. In addition, glucosamine and condroitin is great for the joints, especially in large breed. Good luck.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Yes, Royal canin and Hills are far superior to the boutique brands like Orijen which market to the pet owner and not the dog. Royal canine and Hill's have veterinary nutritionists that formulate their diets unlike the boutique brands that use cookie cutter recipes. The dog food label has to be written a certain way based on the dry vs wet weights of ingredients. It is a huge misconception out there regarding pet food labels. An example of consumer misconception is the grain free fad has now resulted in dogs eating taurine deficient foods that have cause dilated cardiomyopathy and heart failure due to the legumes used to replace grain. You can continue to feed your preferred diet and supplement with glucosamines and Omega 3 if you feel more comfortable. Have a good day!

Royal Canin is a complete, balanced food. It should not be necessary to add other supplements. Adding additional calcium or vitamins could actually be detrimental as it will throw off normal ratios. Thank you for using Boop by Petco

My personal preference, completed unrelated to Boop by Petco or Petco, would be Cosequin ( http://www.cosequin.com/dogs/ ) or Dasuquin ( http://www.dasuquin.com/en/products/#dog ). Both are made by Nutromax Labs.
