Hello. You should really consider having Sweety evaluated by your veterinarian to make sure there are no more puppies inside. If there are, your veterinarian should ultrasound them to see if they are showing any signs of fetal distress. This will determine if an emergency C-section is necessary, We can see a bitch take up to 24 hours to deliver, but with such a small litter, & one non-viable pup, I would want to make sure all is well with Sweety. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

There isn't any difference between the shots a dog gets as a puppy and as an adult. I would have Ruby taken into the vet as soon as possible to get her first series of shots, which should include rabies, parvo, distemper, hepatitis, and parainfluenza. She will then need a booster of these shots four weeks later to incur immunity.

From the picture, it looks as though Ruby may have some pustules on her abdomen. These most commonly occur as a sign of a bacterial skin infection, which could occur secondary to excessive licking or chewing, allergies (although this would be highly unusual in such a young pup), or other issues. I do recommend taking Ruby to her vet for an exam, but this is not an emergency that necessarily needs to be treated this weekend. I hope this helps and that all goes well for Ruby!

Hello. I wonder if Ruby is showing some signs for arthritis & is is pain. This would certainly cause her to be restless. Did your vet just check a voided urine sample, or was a sterile one sampled? This might give more information. We can also see urinary incontinence in spayed female dogs. Often this will respond to medications like Proin & Incurin. If she continues to not act well, the next step might be some x-rays or an ultrasound exam to see if there is something ongoing that was not apparent on the blood work. Hopefully, she will start feeling better soon & thanks for using Boop by Petco.
