What’s the difference in cephalexin and simplicef
Cephalexin and Simplicef are both cephalosporins, so they are the same group of antibiotics, but cephalexin is the generic name for a 1st generation cephalosporin and Simplicef is a trade name for Cefpodoxime which is a 3rd generation cephalosporin (so it is a newer drug) and works better in some circumstances. Hi, I am preparing to adopt an adult Alaskan klee kai. She is between 18 and 20 pounds. I currently live in Phoenix, AZ, but may be moving in the near future. I am trying to determine which flea/tick and heartworm preventatives may be best for her. I
Congratulations on your new dog! I like Revolution if you are looking for a topical product. It consistently works well and is well tolerated. If you like the idea of an oral product better, I like Trifexis (it’s another all in one product). Sometimes though the pets can smell the Trifexis and they won’t eat it. In that instance, I like Simparica and Interceptor. My personal preference is oral products. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

Our Aussie mix 1 year old pup Willow licks her paws after she’s been outside. And it’s not just one paw. My sister recommenced Zesty Paws to help. My question is, Willow is on reconcile that she takes once a day, is it safe to give her this too?
Yes, she can take both concurrently. I actually prefer Redonyl over Zesty Paws. It is a vet only item but you do not need a prescription. https://worldtails.securevetsource.com/itemView/view/198944_HomeDelivery.pml?productId=136578 The Redonyl is more cost effective for you too. She would need one of the 200mg chews once a day so the 120 count package will last you almost 3 months. She would need 2 of the Zesty Paws and that will only last you 45 days. Regardless of which product you choose, she is safe to take either one concurrently with the Reconcile. Good question!

You would need a current prescription from a veterinarian who has physically examined Duke. You can then place your order and submit the prescription. The pharmacy will then contact the veterinarian or clinic to confirm the prescription then fill the order.

Hi and thanks for posting on Boop by Petco! OraVet is great, but there are other options out there as well that may be more available. I would recommend oral health products that are approved by the Veterinary Oral Health Council. I have linked a list of approved products below.
