Thank you for using Boop by Petco! Loss of energy is definitely cause for concern as it can be caused by many conditions. I recommend keeping a close eye on Peter and having him seen by a vet if this continues, or you notice that he is losing his appetite, vomiting, or having diarrhea.

You are so welcome! I'm glad I was able to help you and that you are happy with the website. It puts a smile on all of our faces when we have a satisfied customer :-) Pets do like to sleep a lot, sometimes I wish I got as much sleep as my dogs and cats! I'm glad Merri is breathing better.

Hi there! Your dog may be getting sore and arthritic, which would make it harder for her to get up when she's laying down. There are many possible treatments for arthritis in dogs, including pain medication, physical therapy, acupuncture, Adequan injections, laser treatments, specially-formulated foods, and a variety of supplements. It would be a great idea to have your dog examined by a veterinarian to determine if treatment is needed at this time and, if so, which treatment would be more appropriate. Please remember there are no safe over the counter pain medications for dogs, so you will need to have these prescribed by a veterinarian. Thanks for using Boop by Petco and best of luck to you and your dog!

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Lack of energy can be the sign of many things that go from just being tired to actually representing a problem like due to pain for example. If he is otherwise fine, I recommend you keep a close eye on him for now. If there is no improvement within the next 2-3 days, have him evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck and have a great day!

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! You are likely describing teething which is basically a normal type of behavior when puppies are growing up and it is secondary to mouth discomfort as teeth are growing. I recommend that you get Lucy teething type toys which you can get at your local pet store or online. Anytime that he tries to nibble at you, you say no and give him the toy. This is likely going to resolve the issue. Puppies do tend to sleep for long periods of time and that is normal and expected so as long as she is not showing any other signs of being sick like vomiting or anorexia, it is ok to continue to monitor that. Good luck and have a great day!
