Sorry that Tristan is having this issue. How cold is cold? Are you keeping the saline in the refrigerator? If so, I don't recommend you do that and it is not necessary. She can "recover" from cold saline but it is better if the saline is room temperature. Yes, you can give the saline again as scheduled just make sure it is not cold. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

You will need to have flavored medications made at a special pharmacy called a compounding pharmacy. Your vet may know of a local compounding pharmacy that may make flavored medications, so I would check with them. If they do not have a suggestion, I have been very pleased with Road Runner Pharmacy ( https://www.roadrunnerpharmacy.com/ ). Good luck! I hope that was helpful and answered your question. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Unfortunately, there are no oral medications (prescription or non) that will help him. The eye probably needs topical medications so you will have to catch him to even try. I would recommend offering him canned cat food so he can eat without much discomfort. If he eats the canned food, maybe you can use it to lure him into the trap. Good luck!

Any wet or semi wet food that he likes such as liver pate, sausages, sardines and just regular wet cat food. With the syrup I would advise giving it to him directly in the mouth as it can affect the taste of the food greatly.

You can certainly use saline solution to help clear out the eyes. You may also consider getting some artificial tears or GenTeal to keep the eyes moist and clear. You may be able to see if there is a lysine supplement and a human vitamin store to tide you over until you can get some from the vet.
