Thanks for using Boop by Petco! This is likely behavioral in nature and it may be just while she realizes it is you. You can check in with your veterinarian for an eye exam to make sure that it is nothing that has to do with her vision. Otherwise, this may improve with time. Best of luck!

Poor pup! You can try a DAP pheromone collar along with a natural calming supplement like Zylkene or Composure if you wish - these are very safe and can be purchased over the counter without a prescription. If you think that she may need something stronger, I would recommend talking with your regular vet about whether she might benefit from prescription anti-anxiety medication, such as alprazolam or trazodone.

Yes, Solid Gold is a good quality food that has been around for many years and has a good reputation. I think it is often a good idea to rotate protein sources and can help dogs be less picky. If Sky has a sensitive stomach, you should change protein sources gradually over a couple of days to prevent an upset stomach. Good luck! I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Blind pets tend to do well and can still have a good quality of life. Here is a link with some helpful tips: https://www.petcoach.co/article/living-with-a-blind-dog-helpful-tips/ There is also a special harness that dogs can wear with can help them avoid running into walls. Yo may try to find one for purchase or construction. There is not a supplement that will help Oliver to regain his vision. If he has cataracts, there is an option for surgery (just so you know). It is important to feed a high quality senior dog food such as Royal Canin or Science Diet. If you are noticing a change in his body condition, I recommend to have him examined by the veterinarian to have him checked for kidney or endocrine diseases which can change the body. It's best to catch these conditions early. I hope this helps.

Hi there and thanks for using Boop by Petco! If the problem is truly behavioral and she has no other issues going on (I know you say she had a biopsy recently) you can explain this to your doctor and likely they will prescribe you something for anxiety-especially if she is calmed by hugging tight, etc. thunder shirts are available and many animals find them calming as well (the "shirt" fits snugly over the animal and sort of mimics a hug). Anxiolytics like trazadone often help-but so can natural medications like melatonin in my experience. Your doctor will decide which is right for your pet based on her current history and health status. I hope this helps!
