You should purchase a cat carrier to safely travel with Mennu. I have a link to a few examples below. It would be best to get Mennu as familiar with the carrier as possible prior to travel to help reduce stress - leave the carrier out so she can explore it. You may even want to try feeding her in the carrier. Take her for a short trip once before leaving. A pheromone spray like Feliway could help reduce stress. Good luck! https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/category/cat/cat-containment/cat-carriers-crates-and-kennels/cat-plastic-crates

Start now with closing the cat door at night and keeping Kitter in with a litter box available. After a few days or a week keep him inside only. That way he will adjust before the stress of moving. Most cats naturally use the litter box but you may want to confine him to a smaller area with the box at night when he's in. Use plain litter without fragrance and clean it daily and fully empty it and scrub it with mild dish washing soap weekly. Cats are fussy and if the box is dirty they can start going out of the box. Also pick up bath mats and laundry so he doesn't start urinating on those. He should be fine, most cats adjust well. Make sure you play with him a lot and he may enjoy a cat tree since he is probably used to more exercise when he's outside. Thanks for using Boop by Petco to help you care for Kitter.

Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address your concern. I would make sure to have his vaccinations kept up to date (FVRCP, FeLV and Rabies vaccinations). I would also recommend having him on a flea / tick / heartworm / intestinal parasite preventative. There are preventatives such as Revolution and Profender for cats. I would also make sure to have him tested for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus (FeLV and FIV). I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further!

Cats can feel very vulnerable when confined in a carrier and it would be very stressful to be put outdorrs with no means of escaping any threats and predators. If possible try to arrange for someone else to collect the cat

She needs to be able to comfortably lay down and turn around in the carrier. The easier kinds are the one with a door on the front and top. Length would be nose to butt not doing the tail as it is curled mostly in carriers. Height would be feet to shoulder or head and keep in mind they are a little taker when they sit
