Hello and welcome to Boop by Petco. Chewy might get some diarrhea, but should otherwise be OK. You might want to go on a bland diet of boiled/boneless/skinless chicken breast and boiled rice in small frequent meals for the next few days as a preventative. Best of luck with Chewy!

If you ask 10 vets you will probably get 10 answers. You will have make a plan to feed him a specific amount and then monitor him. If he is looking too thin then give more food, if he is too fat then you need to cut back. That is the best I can tell you. It depends on too many factors like his metabolism for one. So the guidelines on the food bag are just that, guidelines. According to my calculations, a 3# small breed dog need about 40 calories per pound of body weight per day so that makes 120 calories. At 32 calories per patty, that would make 3-3/4 patties per day. Six is WAY too much! The Stella & Chewy's food is fine to feed.

Hello. I would not recommend feeding Stella during the night. Just like us, we need to have a good nights rest for the following day. Waking her any time after 9pm will make it much harder to try & house train her to sleep all night. Definitely feed her in the morning & she should do great. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

I typically recommend the following: 1. Welactin omega 3 fish oil for cats 2. Cosequin for cats 3. Duralactin paste 4. Dasuquin for cats Any of these will be great supplements to use. You can use the Welactin and Duralactin together along with either Dasuqin or Cosequin (not both). I hope this helps! If Stella is in a lot of pain from arthritis, she may need more than supplementation and more along the lines of pain medication to reduce inflammation and pain. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. I am also available via consultation if needed.

I would recommend a product called Composure from VetriScience which comes in a liquid and chewable form. I have the product linked below: https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/vetri-science-laboratories-composure-canine-bite-sized-chews I hope this helps!
