You want to make sure to use a dust free bedding. The two that I recommend are Carefresh and Aspen pellets. Good ventilation and low dust are very important for the health of guinea pig lungs. Please feel free to post any additional questions.

Thank you for your question about Hazel. What you’re describing is very common, and often occurs when rabbits are in a larger space. Since rabbits go to the bathroom so often, they will utilize many spaces as a litter box. One thing you can try is to put a litter box in the area where she is going to the bathroom in the play pen. You can put some of the fecal pellets in the litter box as well. For litter, I would recommend using recycled newspaper pelleted litter or recycled paper pulp bedding. Sometimes they will end up laying in their litter boxes - if this occurs, you can provide them with two litter boxes which often helps. I hope that gives you a place to start, and thanks for using Boop by Petco!

I use Yesteday News which is pelleted litter made from recycled newspaper. They also have pelleted pine litter. The pellets are bigger and don’t track out of the litter box, and don’t stick to their feet. I use just a small amount and clean it daily. I also have a robot vacuum and it vacuums daily on a schedule so the house is clean without me having to do it. The vacuum was one of my favorite purchases ever! Thanks for using Boop by Petco to help you care for your cat.

If the box is not covered I would recommend doing so but otherwise try a wood pellet based litter which can be quite similar in texture; you may need to try a few brands until you find one that is acceptable to Storm!

I'm so sorry to hear about Quincy's traumatic event! I would try to avoid a typical clumping litter until his paws have healed a bit more, as the dust and tiny debris can get lodged into the wounds on his paws and make matters worse. Since he won't use the Yesterday's News, you can also try simply using shredded paper or another pelleted litter. This is one example, but there are many other brands: https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/purina-tidy-cats-breeze-pellets-refill-litter-for-multiple-cats . If all else fails, you could also try putting old towels in the litter box that you don't mind discarding. I hope that Quincy makes a speedy recovery!
