Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Poor Sweety! If Sweety didn't eat for several days or isn't eating normally she will pass less stool which doesn't necessarily mean she is constipated. If Sweety is not spayed then I would be very concerned that she has a uterine infection (pyometra) which requires immediate Veterinary care and surgery to remove the infected uterus. This is a life threatening condition. Other possibilities is a urinary tract infection which also require a Vet exam and analysis of her urine and antibiotics. I recommend that Sweety sees a Vet today. I hope this helps and I wish Sweety a speedy recovery!

Tidy cat is a very good brand of cat litter. Try this as an alternative when needed but try to stick with the cat litter that Jackie likes the best and is used to. If she continues scooting, have her checked by her veterinarian for an anal gland problem. Please feel free to post any additional questions.

You shouldn’t need to take her in for an emergency visit tonight unless she is acting painful when trying to urinate or unless she is unable to pass any urine at all. I would however try to get her in to your regular veterinarian’s office tomorrow. I would be concerned that she has cystitis and/or possibly a urinary tract infection. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Boop by Petco. Best of luck.

You cannot give the cat that medication. Most vets office can trim nails with out doing anything and may have a carrier for you. Depending on your area, there may be a mobile vet or groomer than can come to you to do this for you. I would start with contacting a vet's office or local groomer and they can assist you or provide you with someone in town that can if needed.

Any way he can stay in a bathroom or small room instead? He will be contained but not be so stressed because you can put a litterbox, water, food, toys, and bedding in there. I would worry about a small carrier overnight because he could injure himself trying to get out. I hope this helps and thank you for using Boop by Petco!
