Thanks for using Boop by Petco! While not necessarily normal, this can certainly be seen during the winter months. If she is otherwise fine, I would not be too concerned about this. However, if she develops any other symptoms like decreased appetite or vomiting, have her evaluated then. Good luck!

You can try to lure her in with tuna. Or your best bet is to borrow a "cat trap" from your local humane society or Animal control facility OR you can just buy one like this https://www.walmart.com/ip/OxGord-Live-Animal-Trap-24-X-7-X-7-GFA-Catch-and-Release-Humane-Rodent-Cage-for-Rabbits-Stray-Cat-Squirrel/48095808?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=693&adid=22222222227035491470&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=75975829594&wl4=aud-273067695102:pla-176373722194&wl5=9028263&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=112354462&wl11=online&wl12=48095808&wl13=&veh=sem These are safe to use and won't harm her so that you can get her back inside. I wish you luck in getting your sweet girl back inside the home and back to safety. Hopefully she won't be too traumatized and will go back to her normal sweet self.

Thank you for providing a picture of the box and ingredients, it's very helpful. To answer your question, you do have to be careful with this around Salem. It contains xylitol, which is toxic to cats. I would not let him have any licks of it, and if you drink it outside the house, that's fine and he will be safe. I hope this helps!

Hi there. Dominant behavior in cats can look like many things, but some examples are litter box guarding, food guarding, attacking, urinating outside the litter box and hissing/growling. I would make sure you have 3 litter boxes (the rule is # of cats + 1 litter box), have 2 places for the cats to eat so Autumn can eat in peace, and use a squirt bottle with water for Cici if he attacks her. There is also some calming aids you can try. One is the Royal Canin Calm diet (feed to both cats), and Solliquin (natural calming supplement, in treat form). Both can be purchased from your vet. Best of luck.

I would keep him inside so he isn't accidentally harmed or injured. You can add in some toys that are interactive (such as a laser pointer) or even add in some furniture such as shelves or a cat tree that will allow him to climb and get more exercise. If he does like to go outside, buying a cat-harness and leash and taking him on supervised outings outside can help him to explore without getting away and potentially being injured.
