Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I personally like the Purina Pro Plan diets as well as the Hill's Science Diet foods as I think they are both palatable and highly nutritious. In terms of treats, I think the milk bones products are both nutritious, palatable and reasonably priced. Good luck and best wishes!

There are so many choices out there for diets now it is almost exhausting trying to choose among them. One of the main things you can at least look for on the packaging is the AAFCO certification. This means that the company at meets a certain standard and that the pet food company meeting this standard has underwent certain testing voluntarily by an independent organization. Fromm's is definitely one of these companies. Honest kitchen is also AAFCO approved though they would like to make the claim that their food is essentially people food. Dietarily speaking, I am more a traditionalist and would definitely going with Fromm's. They are a well-established company that will go to great lengths to defend their product and name. In terms of my personal recommendations as to food quality and efficacy, Purina and Hills Science Diet are the only company that do extensive food trials for every single one of their diets as far as I know. In my opinion, that is the only way to ascertain

Real Nature seems to be a very high quality food, it is not one i am familiar with but the ingredient list is quite impressive. if he is doing well on this brand i would probably stick with it. other excelent options include Orijen, Acana and taste of the wild.

Hello. Unfortunately, there has been an explosion of new & "boutique" type foods that have hit the market lately, some are fine to feed, some are just gimmicks & have no science to back up their claims. You should always look for the AAFCO statement on every label, but be aware that this is a voluntary claim & there is no regulatory agency watching out for dishonest manufacturers. Personally, I recommend sticking with the 3 biggest companies that can actually provide the science behind their pet foods. They are Science Diet, Royal Canin & Purina. All three of these have developed formulations to fit every lifestyle, every trend, & every stage of life that you just cannot go wrong feeding one. If the food you have is suspicious, I would transition Diggy off as soon as possible to another puppy food soon. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! You have probably noticed the very large variety of diets available in the market. I personally prefer the Purina Pro Plan and Hill's diets as they are palatable and also good in terms of ingredients. Both of these companies have their own puppy diets. There is currently no strong scientific evidence that grains are harmful and should be avoided so I do not really pay attention to that. Good luck!
