You can add in a commercial pelleted mix. Brands include Roudybush, Harrison's, LaFeber or Pretty Bird. This should make up most of her diet. You can supplement with a small amount of a fortified seed mix. Round out her diet with fresh greens, vegetables and a small amount of fruit. She can also eat foods such as cooked grains and beans and plain pasta. Scrambled egg is also a healthy treat. Introduce new foods gradually and one at a time. Monitor for loose droppings afterwards.

I am not familiar with this specific product but it is made for dogs and cats (so mammals) not birds (avian). Obviously birds and dogs/cats have different nutritional requirements. It probably won't hurt the birds but I am not sure if it will help anything. If your vet recommended it I suppose they have experience using it??? I would actually recommend this one instead as it is especially formulated for birds: https://www.amazon.in/Vetafarm-Probiotic-90-gm/dp/B001LK9158/ref=sr_1_1?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1511228932&sr=1-1&keywords=bird+probiotic+vetafarm Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Poor Quiz. Nutritional deficiencies can cause issues with the feathers and beak, so if he's also having trouble eating, a vet visit wouldn't hurt to rule out any deficiencies or other issues that could be causing his problems. Making sure he's on a balanced diet can also help ensure he gets enough nutrition. Other snacks such as salad greens, apple slices, strawberries etc, are also easier for a budgie to eat and break down and can provide additional nutrition.

The consistency and appearance of droppings can be affected by diet. It is possible Flint had some fruit or fluids which resulted in looser droppings than normal. If he is behaving normally, keep an eye on what he eats and his droppings. If they remain loose and larger than normal, consider an exam with your veterinarian or an experienced avian veterinarian. You may want to submit the droppings to diagnose intestinal parasites or bacterial/fungal overgrowth. It is never recommended to medicate a pet without the advice of your veterinarian. Inappropriate antibiotic use can lead to resistant bacteria and may complicate any underlying condition which can delay diagnosis. If Flint did have an infection that was not susceptible to the antibiotic used, then there would be no improvement. An exam would be recommended to diagnose and properly treat any infection. Your vet can also take a look at the wing feathers to rule out infection (mites, bacterial, viral, fungal). You can bathe or mist

I would try using an avian (bird) probiotic/supplement like this one: https://www.amazon.in/My-Beau-Avian-Birds-300ml/dp/B00FBE3XQI/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_2?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1517593240&sr=1-2-fkmr1&keywords=avian+probiotic Also, be sure you are feeding a high quality diet like Lafeber's: https://www.amazon.in/Classic-Nutri-Berries-Parakeets-12-5-Tub/dp/B0002ARFN8/ref=sr_1_1?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1517593365&sr=1-1&keywords=lafeber+diet Hope this helps. Best wishes.
