Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I only recommend erythromycin or terramycin be used in a cats eye. I recommend, if Riley is having an issue with her eyes, that you see a Veterinarian before putting anything in them. You don't want to do more harm than good. Cats are very sensitive and can react to many eye medications and can react to them all! I hope this helps and I wish you the best!

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I would not use any product that wasn’t prescribed by a veterinarian, especially in the eyes. If Kat is having an eye issue, I recommend taking her to a vet for a close look and proper pet medications. Human medications can sometimes make pets worse and without knowing what is going on, I would wait and see a vet. Good luck and kisses to Kat!

my cat has been having a problem with his eyes and has been prescribed both neopoly dex ophthalmic ointment and ofloxacin ophthalmic solution can you mix them or is one better than th eother?
Hi and thanks for using Boop by Petco! Sorry to hear about your kitty. I'm assuming the vet who prescribed these did a corneal eye stain to make sure the surface of the eyes were not damaged. You can place the drops in the eyes as directed and then wait about 15 minutes and follow with the ointment. Great question.

Diagnosed bronchitis, HCM (LA sev. dilated), and CHF via X-ray and echo. 2nd set X-rays 3 days later showed improvement in lungs. Discharged on clopidogrel, clavamox, lasix, fluticasone. Resp.rate ~ 25. Drinking, eating small amounts, urinating. F/U
It appears that nebivolol is being researched for many different possible uses in many lab animal species, but I could not find any information on its use in cats. From the information I could find, most vets have mixed feelings on using atenolol in cats with HCM. There does seem to be a consensus among specialists that it could help in cats with HCM that have Systolic Anterior Motion (SAM) of the mitral valve (seen on echo), but there are no studies showing a positive benefit.

Hopefully it is the same medication, although there have been lawsuits about mislabeled and counterfeit medications with online pharmacies. Also, you do need a prescription from your veterinarian in order to purchase these products. I would recommend visiting with your veterinarian, as there is a possibility they may price match for you.
