For a 30 minute transport, this is should be fine. There looks there are a lot of holes, which is good. I'd be surprised if they get their heads through the holes, but you can make them smaller to be safe. This is a very clever way to transport them! I hope this helps!

It must be so stressful for Princess to have a new dog in the home! You are doing exactly the right thing by keeping her food and litter separated with the gate, but it does sound like she is stressed. I would get a Feliway diffuser for her, which helps cats with anxiety. I'd also keep the dog and Princess in separate rooms from each other divided by the gate. It will give her a safe space of her own where she can smell the dog but not be in contact with it. Once she's more comfortable with the dog, you can remove the gate. I would also get her a cat tree so she can escape from the dog as needed.

It may be difficult to train Angel not to run out the door when she has the chance. Certainly vigilance if the best option. There are invisible fence options and motion activated blow horns which can act as a negative deterrent for Angel. You can also try environmental enrichment such as adding climbing opportunities, daily play time and food puzzles. These additions may not reduce her escape behavior but it may help make her happier. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

Thanks for the info about the litter boxes. Yes, it does matter! The rule is to have one litter box for each cat, plus one extra. So ideally, you should have 11 litter boxes. Anyway, as for a product, I recommend Skout's Honor. I use it when my cats have accidents, and it's amazing. I hope this helps!

Hi Ollie! There isn't really one specific breed that's best with cats, although I'm very partial to Golden Retrievers. It's more how you introduce them, allow them to get to know each other slowly, and not let the puppy chase the cat. I can give you a method for introducing to cause the least stress to your cat. Best of luck. Introducing them should be done slowly. When you first bring your puppy home, I would keep them in rooms separated by a door. This way, they can get used to the smells and sounds of each other without contact. Make sure your cat has a litter box, food, and water in their room. You can also place a blanket with the puppy's smell in the cat's room, and a blanket with the cat's smell in the puppy's room. I would also consider get a Feliway for your cat and a DAP for your puppy. These are pheromone diffusers that help with anxiety and should also help ease the transition. Once both pets seem relaxed with the current situation, swap rooms placing the cat in t
