Great question! The Veterinary Oral Health Council is a group of veterinary dentists that investigates and reviews products that are marketed for dental care in pets. You can find a list of the products for cats that have received their seal of approval here: http://www.vohc.org/accepted_products_cats.html

Hello. You have asked a very good & very important question. Many times people think they do not need to treat an indoor pet for pests & parasites, but things can come into the house, like fleas on the dog before they have a chance to die from any treatments you use on the dog, to mosquitoes to even a tick coming in on you clothes. There are many very good products for cats. My personal favorites are [Bravecto]( https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/bravecto-plus-topical-solution-for-cats-63-138-lbs-single-2-month-dose) topical for cats & [Revolution Plus](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/revolution-plus-topical-solution-111-22lbs-cat). Both of these require a prescription from your veterinarian. If you want to use an over the counter product, then [Frontline Gold](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/frontline-gold-flea-and-tick-treatment-for-cats) or the [Seresto Collar](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/seresto-flea-and-tic

I would personally use one of the oral pills like Comfortis or Bravecto. I like Bravecto because it's newer and the fleas haven't been exposed to it yet so there is no resistance. It is also nice because one dose lasts 12 weeks. All the other products only last 4 weeks. https://us.bravecto.com/for-cats.aspx The Adams spray does not work for long term use and you are just dousing her chemicals every time you use it. It is not bad for spot treatment here and there but I would not use it all the time. I would recommend you use this Flea/tick mousse maybe 1-2x a week. It is easy to apply and not as "chemically" as the Adams Spray. It is more natural. https://www.chewy.com/vets-best-waterless-flea-tick-cat/dp/148050 Also, I know you said you treated the house which is great but I'm not sure what product you used so I will recommend one. You also need to treat the yard. I like this house spray. I find it works the best: https://www.chewy.com/virbac-knockout-es-area-treatment/d

Seasonal allergies may be treated with antihistamines such as chlorpheneramine. Discuss a safe dose with your veterinarian. An e-collar can be used to prevent trauma from excessive itching or licking. Consider a fish oil supplement such as DermCaps or EicosaCaps. Either can be purchased from your vet, may promote healthy skin and coat and may naturally decrease any inflammation or itching.

I am attaching a link to the products that the Veterinary Oral Health Council (VOHC) has tested and approved for use. http://www.vohc.org/accepted_products.htm You will see that the list for cats is pretty short, but there are some diets, treats and water additives that might be an option for you. Good luck! I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.
