I wouldn’t have concerns about giving the Vetri-Science supplement along with enalapril and pimobendan, but it would be a good idea to check in with your vet first, particularly to see if a potassium has been checked recently. I am not familiar with the other supplement but do recommend the Vetri-Science. There is some evidence that a restricted protein diet can help with proteinuria so this may be worth discussing with your vet as well.

Yes, I would have recommended a probiotic. Which one are you using? It needs to be one made for dogs. Human probiotics or dairy products will not work and may actually make the diarrhea worse. I know you already got a probiotic but my favorite is Fortiflora. It has the most extensive testing so we know it works well. http://www.allivet.com/p-1130-purina-pro-plan-veterinary-diets-fortiflora-dog-supplement-box-of-30.aspx Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! They will likely be able to refill it for you as long as they agree with that treatment plan to continue. Your best bet would be to contact them directly and check with your veterinarian. I am sure they will be more than happy to assist you and also to know that it is working well for Pablo. Have a good night!

Both of them are products containing omega 3 fatty acids and vitamins and fish oil basically. Any veterinary product available in Portugal with similar content (ask your local veterinarian as unfortunately I do not know about veterinary market products in Portugal) will be fine. These are not specific medicines but only supplements that can help with allergic skin but not treat the signs (itch usually). Drugs that will help with the signs would be basically steroids, Apoquel, and immunosuppressive medications. Please do not hesitate to contact us again on the forum or by requesting a consultation (where you can post pictures ) if you have any more questions or to discuss it any further.

Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address your concern. There are some supplements you can try that have been suggested to help reduce the occurrence of acute pancreatitis. I typically recommend a low fat diet along with omega 3 fish oil (Welactin fish oil for dogs) as well as vitamin E supplementation. Some veterinarians have recommended using digestive powders to help try and reduce the work that the pancreas needs to do to digest food. Pancrezyme is one such digestive enzyme powder that you can try. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.
