Why does my dog suddenly pee outside his potty pad when I travel?
Since the behavior only occurs when you are away and resolves when you get back, I wonder if it is stress related. There are a number of options to decrease stress. You could consider an Adaptil diffuser which would work for a month ( https://www.adaptil.com/us/Products/ADAPTIL-Calm-Home-Diffuser ). I have also had luck with Rescue Remedy ( http://www.bachflower.com/rescue-remedy-pet/ ) which can be added to the water. What are the best ways to potty train my dog or new puppy effectively?
I have had amazing success using a product called Fresh Patch. You can order this online easily. This product has its own website and it is delivered to your address via autoship every couple of weeks. It is basically a patch of grass in a box with an absorbent pad underneath. The clients of mine that have used this have said the puppy automatically began using the patch and others had to physically pick up the puppy and put it on the patch several times before the puppy is trained. I would give this a try and see if this works for you. Taking your puppy out on a regular basis and praising will also help reinforce good bathroom habits. I hope this helps!

How to stop puppy peeing inside after walks & excited dribbling?
Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address your concern. Bo is still quite young and him urinating inside is something that he should eventually grow out with training. Positive reinforcement with treats whenever he urinates outside and defecates outside will help reinforce him going outside. I've had great success with recommending Fresh Patch. This is a patch of grass in a cardboard box with absorbent material underneath the grass and you place this in the house. Bo will use this real grass to go to the bathroom short term. I would recommend starting by placing the grass in the area where he has been urinating and then gradually moving the patch of grass closer and closer to the door to the outside until eventually the grass patch is outside of the house and he is using it there. My puppy's pee pads aren't working. Which are most absorbent?
All Absorb or Four Paws training pads are excellent pads. Both are very absorbent and have a protective layer to minimize or eliminate messes or staining. This is my own opinion. You may be able to purchase them at your local Petco or at www.petco.com.

Hi there and thanks for posting on Boop by Petco! Some pet stores do sell liners for female diapers and belly bands. However, some of these are a little expensive. You can try your local wholesale retailer (like a Sam's Club or Costco) for generic sanitary pads for women than may fit nicely and work well.
