Toys, the radio or tv, can all assist with boredom. Setting up foraging toys so birds need to spend time looking for food. 2. There is no such thing as too big a cage. 3. Heating rocks are rarely approved for use, as they will eventually become faulty and get too hot, potentially damaging the animal. A heat lamp is recommended. 4. The bunny's litter box should be spot cleaned daily and full clean weekly. If you can smell it you waited too long. Good luck.

Is it safe for my small pet to travel between two homes often?

This could be stressful to some pets, depending on their personality. I would suspect a prey-species such as a hamster would be more affected by the constant movement/change of scenery just because they may be more alert/aware of their surroundings. Whatever pet you decide to get, you will need an appropriate travel carrier to be sure the pet doesn't get loose in your car. Or even better, if your car is large enough to move the cage between the two households this may be easier on your pets so that the actual cage itself isn't changing regularly. Covering the cage with a dark sheet can be calming for some pets during travel, so they aren't alarmed by the light/noise on the trip.

Best wet dog food for small adult dog with dental disease at Petco?

As far as dog food goes, I tend to recommend Hill's Science Diet or the higher end Purina products. If you are looking to go a more natural route you would want to try something like Earthborn or Acana. Periodontal disease can be delayed with regular teeth brushing if Ratchett will allow it. You should be able to purchase most of what I mentioned at one of those stores. Hope this makes sense.

I really like the Science Diet, Royal Canin and Purina Pro Plan products. A diet that I have found to be of very good quality, affordable and dogs love is the Purina Pro Plan shredded blends. You can find that at your local pet store or online. Otherwise any of the diets of the previously mentioned brands would also be good choices for Harley. Good luck!
