I would take your cue from her. If she seems to enjoy daycare and is more relaxed and happy in the evenings when she's been there, then I don't see any problem with taking her four days a week if you want to. When I was in veterinary school, my own dog (a young Sheltie) went to doggy daycare five days a week while I was on clinical rotations my senior year. It was a great arrangement for him :)

My dog usually does good pooping outside, but recently has been pooping in and out of the house. The last time that happened, she had inner parasites. We took a poop sample to the vet for testing, and it came out negitive. She also goes to a daycare
It's possible she is getting mixed signals from daycare but it's impossible to say for sure. I recommend crating her when you are not directly watching her and at night. This may help to remind her about her housebreaking. You may also want to walk her more often and keep her feeding on a schedule. These are very long days to expect a dog to be left alone, especially in such a hot climate and you should think very carefully before adopting any dog (puppy or adult) on a tight budget with limited access to veterinary facilities - it is important to always expect the unexpected. It may be worth contacting local shelters to see if they need volunteer help when you are not in college or if they have dogs which need fostering (ensure that they would then be providing back up for veterinary fees and other expenses if required)

Will my dog have problems with delivery
It's always possible that any dog can have problems with delivery, so I recommend being prepared for that possibility financially. It's best to have the money set aside for an emergency c-section so it's there if you need it. Be sure to know the signs of problems with delivery, such as more than 30 minutes of intense contractions with no sign of a puppy, more than two hours between puppies being delivered, more than four hours between the onset of stage two of labor to delivery of the first puppy, more than 24 hours after a temperature drop below 100F with no puppies being born, 69 days gestation with no sign of labor, a greenish-black discharge (a sign the placenta has detached), and a bloody discharge before the first puppy is born or between puppies. Any of those signs, and Gemma will need to see a vet immediately.
