Thank you for you post on Boop by Petco. I do agree that some canned and dry pet foods can have less then desirable ingredients. Therefore I only recommend those which have been tested. There are only three pet food brands which are fully approved by veterinarians. These are Hill's science diet, royal canin and purina pro plan. Only these three Have undergone detailed research to ensure they provide an adequate and nutritious diet for pets. This research is approved by veterinarians. Any other food brands may not be as regulated or researched as thoroughly. For this reason I would only advise feeding one of those three. In regards to raw food diets, there are undeniably benefits to this type of fresh, less processed food. The issue can be obtaining, and preparing quality enough meat to prevent infections from food borne pathogens. An alternative to consider to raw food diets are home prepared diets. This is what I serve to my own pets, and what I recommend to clients who have

If she’s in pain she may not want to eat. I’ve found doing some gentle massage and heat to the neck and back can often get them to relax and feel better so they may eat something. Most dogs love wet cat food so I’ll often try that, placing a small amount into her mouth or on her nose so she licks it off. If needed I would take her back for a recheck and they can give her fluids so she doesn’t get dehydrated. Hopefully as she gets better from the bruising her appetite will return. Please keep up with the broth too. Thanks for using Boop by Petco to help you care for T.T.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I definitely understand your concern. I do think it would be best to switch them to a regular diet. There are many types out there that are affordable and good. I like the Purina Pro Plan shredded blends in that category because they are palatable, affordable and of very good quality. Good luck and have a great day!

Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco. Below are products I recommend for maintaining a shiny coat. There are no specific ingredients that are specifically for a Boston. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further. 1. Douxo PS calm shampoo and bathe twice weekly 2. Krillex shed free chews 3. Essential 6 spot on by dermoscent These products can be found online quite easily.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! It definitely could be related to the food change or it is environmental allergies. The fall can cause allergies for sure. If you want to rule one thing at a time out, you can either do a course of antihistamines until the first frost and see if things with the eyes and skin improve as long as they aren’t miserable and itchy or change the diet first and wait to start the medication. Good luck! https://www.petcoach.co/canigive/dog/zyrtec/
