Not safe, roof handles are not made for impact

Auto industry

This is not safe. As someone that works in the automotive industry, these roof handles are NOT made to withstand the amount of force a dog would translate into during a car accident. Please, if you are going to use this, also tether your dog to the seat belt or child seat hook, which are crash tested and made to withstand the force of an impact

No, I do not recommend this product.

Fear Car zip line wouldn't hold pup in a crash

The end clamps are open hooks and a dense plastic . Also the ring that the harness strap attached to, opened very easily when are pup tried to get out of the still car while attached to the zip line.

No, I do not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog LOVES going for rides, it brightens her day and makes her so happy. This made taking her on these rides so much easier. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a dog that loves car rides.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this a few months ago, and the zip line has kept my dog safe in the car. She doesn’t seem to mind wearing it either!! It’s the perfect product for the car rides with your pet!

Safer car ride

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love taking our dog Mae places in the car but always felt like she wasn't safe enough. This Happy Ride Dog Zipline has helped ease our worries and make Mae safer during her car rides. It was super easy to "install" in our vehicle and the only thing we had to go is purchase and different type of harness for her to wear in the car because we used a front clip harness normally since she is a puller. I would definitely recommend this to other dog owners.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is amazing. My dog likes to jump up to the front seat constantly and climb on my lap when driving. This has saved me an amazing amount of headache. Keeps her in the back contained.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have a med/large dog that won’t stop going from one window to the other while out on car rides, this would be perfect for you. The material is strong and durable to withstand pits, huskies, Danes, or shepherds. The hooks that hold the zip line to the headrests don’t slip or budge, and they hold like E-6000. My dog behaves better wearing this and I don’t have to worry about him trying to jump up front or in the back ( van trunk).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this zipline was cool. It helps when you have to travel with the dog because they're able to move across the seat but remain in the same area. With this I didn't have to worry about my dog getting on the floor or going under the seat while riding

Questions

1 - 4 of 4 Questions

What does this include.......zip line and tether, or just zip line?

  1. Everything you see in the photo except harness on the dog.

can i rig it from back seat to front seat? I have the front seat fully reclined and he does the back seat to sleep and front to poke his head out the window

  1. I think it may lower the safety of the feature. I have on my rollover handles in the back seat and can cinch it quite tightly across the back seat. I am not sure how you would attache from the front to the back.

Where do you attach the Zipline hooks if you do not have handles in the backseat?  I have a Jeep.

  1. I’m sure you can find a spot

How short can you adjust the zip line?

  1. I assume you are talking about the dog tether. I have the larger of the two models and it adjusts to 11 inches(the shortest, from back of bag to the end of clip). I didn't feel like it was short enough.
