I feed my dog Nutrience Sub Zero Puppy food, he is 5 months old and the last month he has started licking and biting his fur off at the legs and sides. He has flea medication in a pill form. I cannot see any bites or red spots. His skin is "dry" when
Poor Beaumont sounds very itchy!! I would recommend having him checked over by your regular veterinarian. In a young dog like this I would be concerned about a flea allergy (he may need to be started on a topical flea treatment rather than the oral pill), Demodex mites, or an environmental allergy. Salmon oil can be very beneficial for skin health, but it will likely be a few weeks before you see results-take care not to use too much at first as it can cause tummy upsets initially. Your vet may recommend some skin diagnostics such as a skin scrape or cytology to help determine the nature of the problem for Beaumont. Depending on their findings they will then help you to form a treatment plan to get Beaumont feeling and looking better.

I am getting a new puppy in 8 weeks! What all do I need to do to get prepared for the arrival of our new family member?
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! What an exciting time. You would need to start by getting a high quality diet (I like the Purina Pro Plan diets though there are plenty to choose from). Also, a dog bed and toys will be important as well. I recommend that you check with your veterinarian to get him in for initiation of vaccines and to start other preventative care medications such as flea and tick preventatives and heartworm preventatives. We're going on a long road trip. Do you have any advice on what should I bring for our little wigglebutt? Except papers,water bottle and snacks and few favourite toys and protection for her. What else should I do?
Other fun things are a safety blanket, collar and leash, id tags just in case, Benadryl tablets in case of sting etc at a rest stop, and sounds like you have the rest covered! Happy travels to you and Bella!

Ensure the puppy has been fully health checked, microchipped and vaccinated and contact the vet involved to confirm they know the puppy - I see you have her down as 6weeks old and spayed/neutered - this is very early and you should question the breeder as to if and why this has been done. You should arrange a puppy safe area of the house (indoor crate or partitioned off area) with no low hanging wires or cords they can chew or become tangled in, have plenty of spare, war, soft bedding and at least 2 food/water bowls, puppy training pads (if using) and an appropriate sized leach and collar to start training around the house. Have some appropriate sized chews and rope toys (avoid human items such as old shoes etc as this can encourage unwanted chewing of important pairs!). Ensure a dog sitter/walker or daycare is available if you will be away for longer than 4-6hours and arrange a vet check within the first 3days to ensure all is well! Good luck
