Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Poor Nino! I like probiotics formulated for dogs. My favorite is Purina Fortiflora. If the diarrhea doesn't improve in a couple of days on a probiotic I recommend that you take Nino to the Vet. They can start him on an antibiotic to help! https://www.chewy.com/purina-pro-plan-veterinary-diets/dp/50029?utm_source=google-product

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! It is fine for Chloe to have milk bones. The treats and the dog food doesn't have to be the same unless Chloe suffers from food or skin allergies where the food protein is the same. Have a great day!

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! A healthy dog will not choice starvation. It sounds like he is trying to train you to give him what he wants. I would hold your ground. Put the meal down, give him an allotted time to eat it and pick it up until the next meal time. It may take 3 days of holding out for him to realize that this is all it will be. No treats until he is eating his food consistently. He could also be out of sorts from you being away and him staying with your family. If he starts acting sick (vomit, diarrhea, etc) or it has been longer than 3 days have your Vet examine him. Also have a talk with your family about feeding expectations and why you don't want things added to his food. Good luck!

Yes, however, anything that is hard has the potential to break a dog's teeth. You want to make sure it's large enough to be a rounded surface, rather than a flat one that your dog is chewing on (based on their mouth size). It's also important to limit calories from treats to less than 10% of total daily calorie intake.

I suppose it is possibe to use anything edible as a delivery device for a toxin, depending upon what that toxin happens to be. As long as it is small and can adhere to a bone, a potential toxicity could occur theoretically.
