A sudden change in behavior from the normal can be a sign of illness. Keep an eye on Texas for tonight, and if he's still acting this way in the morning, have him seen by a vet for a health check. Best of luck.

It sounds like he is acting like a typical friendly kitty. It is possible that he was once owned and that it why he is so friendly. He may have been lost or abandoned, but still has a pleasant attitude around people. If he is gentle enough that you could take him to a veterinary hospital or animal shelter, they could scan him for a microchip to find information on his previous owners. Typically truly feral cats are afraid of people and will not allow this type of contact with people.

You've probably realized this, but Michu thought there was another cat in the house, and this was extremely upsetting to her. She reacted in a very normal way for her species - cats are loners and they are quite territorial, and in her mind she believed that another cat had invaded her territory. My advice would be to ensure that she can't see her reflection by covering mirrors at her level and preventing her from seeing her reflection in glass - you can do this by placing translucent adhesive film over the glass. Also, if this does happen again, please do not throw water at her - this likely will just continue to escalate her reaction. I'd recommend purchasing some feline pheromone diffusers ( https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/comfort-zone-calming-diffuser-kit-for-cat ) to place around the house, as these have a calming effect on agitated cats.

Prince is just gorgeous! He looks like he has Birman in him with the color point on his face and blue eyes, but he's not long haired like Birmans. He may be a mix with Birman as part of his breed. Give him a cuddle from me please :-)
