Can I buy Benefiber and diaper cream for my cat's bottom at Petco?

Sorry, should have been more clear. You’ll pick these items up at your local grocery store or supermarket. Regular human benefiber (odorless, tasteless fiber powder). And any zinc-oxide baby diaper cream like Desitin is fine. Best wishes!

What do I need to buy for my new 1-month-old kitten at Petco?

Congratulations!! I would recommend making sure you get kitten appropriate toys, two litter boxes and kitten food. At 1 month of age I would recommend a wet kitten food. I would also recommend clumping litter for her. You can always get her other fun stuff like a soft bed for her. I would hold off on any treats until she gets used to her new home. My cat needs Hill's k/d prescription food, out of stock. Where to buy?

Thank you for using Boop by Petco. Many veterinarians will carry Hill’s prescription diets. I recommend calling to see who may carry it. As it is a prescription diet they may require a prescription or call from your veterinarian in order to sell the food.

How much is a cat at Petco? What supplies do I need & will it scratch?

Hello. The cats & kittens offered at Petco are actually managed by individual rescue groups. Prices will differ from rescue to rescue. All cats can do well if they are played with & fussed over once you get home. Can they get into trouble & sometimes make a mess? Absolutely. If you do not want hair & dander & kitty litter tracked all over the house, you should not have a pet. Cats may need to have their claws trimmed ( NOT REMOVED ) & plenty of opportunities to exercise their claws, otherwise they will scratch your furniture, moldings & walls. You will need different types of scratching surfaces, plenty of toys, a water & food dish, litter box ( or 2 ), & lots of patience. All cats are individuals, so when you go looking to adopt a cat, take your family & give yourself plenty of time to spend with your potential pet, & ask lots of questions about them. Buying your first cat? What health and behavior to check?

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Since this is a pure bred cat check for pedigree papers. Check to see if the cattery is feline leukemia and FIV free. Check about any kittens/cats dying from Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). Which vaccinations has it had and has she been dewormed. Has she had kittens before. Has she lived in a cage her whole life or was she free in the house, does she use the litter box (HUGE issue). Then check for sneezing, coughing, eye or nose discharge (as she is a Persian).
