Is there anything extra I can do to make sure hadli stays healthy throughout her whole life. Like are there any foods that promote healthy eyes or liver or kidneys and stuff like that.
Hello. As long as you feed Hadli the best quality food you can, keep her up to date on her vaccinations, keep her on heartworm preventative there is not much else for you to do but supply plenty of love. Where people get into trouble is when they try to over-supplement a pet & thus introduce imbalances. Do not let your pet become obese, give her plenty of exercise, & follow your veterinarians recommendations for any testing that might be appropriate as she ages. Just like they recommend for you & me, eating a healthy balanced diet is far more important than any supplements you can buy. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Dogs are very sensitive to their owners moods, and she's clearly picking up that when you are upset, you need love and attention to feel better. That is why she wants you to pick her up, so she can show you that she loves you. It is a normal thing, dogs can be very attuned to their owners. I had a dog who has since passed away, but when I went through a rough time in my life about five years back, she never left my side. I spent many hours with her head in my lap as she comforted me. You are very lucky to have such a wonderful girl like Bella!
