Posatex is a topical medication for ear infections, and as such it should not be ingested. However, if your dog licked a small amount, the side effects should not be too severe. We can see some GI upset, increased thirst and urination, and possibly adrenal gland suppression. To be extra safe, I'd recommend having your vet check her electrolyte levels in the morning.

You would need a current prescription from a veterinarian who has physically examined Duke. You can then place your order and submit the prescription. The pharmacy will then contact the veterinarian or clinic to confirm the prescription then fill the order.

Unfortunately, we are not permitted to give out drug dosages without a veterinarian - client - pet relationship. If you are seeking this information, I would obtain it through a veterinarian in person or through a veterinary formulary such as Plumb's or Merck. Hope this makes sense.

Hopefully it is the same medication, although there have been lawsuits about mislabeled and counterfeit medications with online pharmacies. Also, you do need a prescription from your veterinarian in order to purchase these products. I would recommend visiting with your veterinarian, as there is a possibility they may price match for you. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.

Petco carries a variety of flea and tick medication over the counter. You can only get a prescription product from a veterinarian if they have examined Bruno. Petco does offer vaccine clinics but you would need to check with the specific services individually. Here is a link: https://www.vetcoclinics.com/ I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
