I would recommend trying to order a food off online. There are a lot of companies that will ship you dog food. Even if you cannot find his original brand you can another dry food he might like better than the store brand from the store near by. You can try to buy some canned food too. This might encourage him to eat his new food better. If you absolutely have to you can add a little boiled chicken to motivate him to eat his new food

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! He may be showing signs of dietary indiscretion which can happen from eating something that does not sit well in the stomach. Clinical symptoms that can occur include inappetence, vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain. Sometimes this resolves on its own. However, sometimes this does require some form of therapy which is mostly supportive in nature. Since he has developed diarrhea, have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to prescribe an anti-diarrhea medication. Good luck and have a great day!

A collar and leash would be a great idea! But know that it takes time for puppies to get used to a leash - I just want her to be safe! A small carrier if you do not plan to hold the puppy the whole trip. Usually the breeder will tell you what kind of food that Ginger has been on so you can purchase some ahead of time. If you want to switch the food, gradually mix them together to transition her to the new food over 2-4 weeks. Ask for any records of shots or dewormers that the breeder has given so you can take them to Ginger's first vet appointment. I recommend a checkup with a vet within the first few days to test Ginger for intestinal parasites and any obvious congenital problems (like a heart murmur or abdominal hernia). Some puppies can become car sick, but it should wear off within a few hours of being home. She may also miss her litter mates and be sad for a few days. I'd keep her in a kennel when you aren't home, and in a playpen when you are home. You can leave wet food out for her if you change it every few hours. Do not leave her alone with the other dog. Make sure she always has water too.
