I was just wondering if there is some fruits or veggies that both bearded dragons and budgies can eat. I know Kale is one but I am looking for other alternatives that are healthy and can benefit on both of my animals health.i have been trying to find
Both can eat dark, leafy greens. Vegetables such as squash, peppers, peas, carrots and corn can also be offered. Cooked is fine, raw is healthier. Fruits should be offered sparingly to both species to prevent loose droppings. Apples, pears, banana, mango, grapes and peaches are all acceptable. Be sure to remove pits or seeds.

Harrison's Bird Diet is the best food out there. It is pelleted so there can be some resistance from your bird transitioning to the new diet if he has been on a seed diet, but it is nutritionally complete and very high quality. Toys I find that lovebirds like have been cotton rope toys that they can preen and groom like the feathers of another bird.

Thanks for reaching out. Sound like you have a full house. 1. Birds will often bond together but continue to work with them in a quiet environ, offering treats to win and re-enforce trust. Toys, the radio or tv, can all assist with boredom. Setting up foraging toys so birds need to spend time looking for food. 2. There is no such thing as too big a cage. 3. Heating rocks are rarely approved for use, as they will eventually become faulty and get too hot, potentially damaging the animal. A heat lamp is recommended. 4. The bunny's litter box should be spot cleaned daily and full clean weekly. If you can smell it you waited too long. Good luck.

Vitamin A is found in good concentration with foods like mangos, carrots, papaya and other orange-colored fruits and vegetables. Dark, leafy greens also have high concentrations of Vitamin A. All of these are good additions to your parrot's diet. The sugary fruits will often be the favorites, so try not to feed too much of these. They will fill up on these and not eat the other nutritious, yet less appealing, foods that are available. You can start adding these to the diet anytime now. I did not know much about Dr. Harvey's bird food, so I had to do a little research. The first place I visited was the website and I came away with some issues about this food. The first thing I noticed was that the food was heavy with nuts and seeds. These foods are dense with fats that can be unhealthy for a bird to eat as their sole diet. A commercial pelleted diet is balanced, healthy and convenient. They can be found in most pet stores or online. Quality brands include Harrison's, Roudybush, Lafeber and Pretty Bird. You can supplement the diet with a small amount of a fortified seed mix, fresh greens and vegetables, cooked grains/beans/pastas and plain rice. Budgies and other birds also enjoy some scrambled egg occasionally.
