Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. I am sorry to hear that Dexter is aging so much. My late dog was 20 years old and had a heart murmur, liver disease, kidney disease and CCD. I placed him on selegiline at the end because I felt it would make him sleep better and not be as confused. I felt that it helped a little, but wasn't great. It should be used with caution in liver or renal disease. If you think it will make him more comfortable for the time he has left, then I would put him on a trial of the medication along with a liver supplement such as Denamarin. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

However, if you want to do comparison prices for drugs then the best resource is https://www.goodrx.com OR calling the pharmacy of your choosing directly. I wish you all the best and hope that you can find an affordable price for your pets medication. Take care!

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Seizures can occur due to many reasons that go from a toxicity, metabolic diseases, inflammatory diseases and even tumors. I would reach for more traditional anti-seizure drugs such as phenobarbital. This is something your veterinarian can prescribe for him. Good luck and have a good day! Hoping for a speedy recovery!

You would need a current prescription from a veterinarian who has physically examined Duke. You can then place your order and submit the prescription. The pharmacy will then contact the veterinarian or clinic to confirm the prescription then fill the order.

I think your best option here is to mix it in with a canned food that will mask the smell. Either that or get it compounded into a flavored liquid that she likes. Here are two compounding pharmacies that are relatively easy to use with a shipping rate of less than a week. www.wedgewoodpharmacy.com www.roadrunner.com Best of luck with your pet Lulu and I hope that you can get her to take her meds soon! Take care.
