Sorry, should have been more clear. You’ll pick these items up at your local grocery store or supermarket. Regular human benefiber (odorless, tasteless fiber powder). And any zinc-oxide baby diaper cream like Desitin is fine. Best wishes!

You can use the beach sand, you do not need to clean it. But you can also use shredded paper and wood shavings or wood pellets if available. Seeing that you are in Tamil Nadu it is likely that the heat of the day pretty much sterilises the sand anyway (I remember trying to walk on the beach in Chennai one...immediately had blisters on the soles of my feet.) I recommend the FVRCP vaccine as well as the rabies. If Kitty never received this vaccine then he needs two 3-4 weeks apart. The 2nd is good for 1 year the all subsequent are good for 3 years. In cats with urinary irritation, wet food is preferable to help reduce urine concentration and flush out the bladder. I strongly recommend a urine exam in order to determine exactly what is going on and to guide the most appropriate treatment (infection/inflammation etc). A sample can be collected using special urine collection litter which does not absorb urine. Petco provide a home kit for detecting UTI which can help to monitor such conditions
