Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! That is adorable! I think it is natural for a dog to want to lay next to and touch a member of his pack when asleep. So I think it means he is bonded to you and wants to be near you when asleep which is when an animal is most vulnerable. Safety in numbers. But overall I think it means that he loves you! Hello and thank you for reaching out to Boop by Petco. This small spot does not look like anything of significance, and may just be a birth mark that she developed. If it does not bother Chibi at all, and she is not limping or licking at that foot, I would not be concerned. I hope this is helpful!

Is a painless black spot on my dog's paw normal or concerning?
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! From the pictures Mills’s paw looks normal and the black area looks like pigment changes which is not abnormal. If you are concerned, a vet can biopsy the area to confirm but you can just continue to monitor at this time. Good luck and kisses to Milli!

My 4-week-old kitten's paw is undeveloped with only one claw. What to do?
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I recommend taking Gray to a vet for xrays of the foot to see what malformation it is. If Gray is still able to move well and not in pain, then I would let it go without treatment. Cats (and dogs) do well on 3 limbs if necessary but if he’s in pain it needs to be addressed. Once a vet sees the malformation they can discuss treatment options if needed. Good luck and kisses to Gray!
