My dog sleeps with his paw on my foot. What does it mean?
Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! That is adorable! I think it is natural for a dog to want to lay next to and touch a member of his pack when asleep. So I think it means he is bonded to you and wants to be near you when asleep which is when an animal is most vulnerable. Safety in numbers. But overall I think it means that he loves you! My dog puts her paws on my arm when I pet her. Why does she do that?
This is a very common behavior, and usually is endearing, though occasionally annoying. ;) Generally the thought is that dogs just want to confirm that they approve of your petting them or reaffirm that they don’t want you to move the hand that’s petting them. Thanks for asking Boop by Petco!

My cat has a new red dot on her paw pad. Is it a mole or serious?
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Given that it is not raised, this is possibly just a change in pigmentation and not an abnormality. If at any point, he develops an actual raised mass, then have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck!

Why are my dog's paws wet and why does he howl when lonely outside?
HI, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Dogs minimally sweat from their paws. If Mike's paws were wet then it could be from licking them or his living conditions are too wet. I would be sure he has shelter outside from the rain. It should have a roof and a floor slightly elevated off the ground and be dry. Check his feet daily for infection. Mike is likely howling because he is lonely outside, since he can not come in be sure he gets plenty of attention and exercise. Long walks twice daily and play time outside with you. Teach him basic obedience so when he starts to howl you can instruct him to go lay down in his dog house. I hope this helps! I wish you and Mike the very best!
