Thanks for using Boop by Petco! In my opinion, the best two flea and tick preventative medications are Bravecto and Frontline plus. Any of those would be good options for him. Good luck and have a good night!

There are two things you will need to do: 1) Get some flea medication such as a Flea spray or a spot on from a pet shop or your veterinarian and apply monthly 2) get flea powder, put some in your vacuum cleaner bag and vacuum your house and furniture and also non-carpeted areas frequently to remove flea larvae which live off house dust., Dispose of the bag in the rubbish bin outside. Hot-wash all the pet's bedding, If you do this diligently for a few months you will get rid of the fleas. Flea products: Spot-ons: Advantage, Advantix Advantage Multi (Advocate in the UK) Frontline (ticks as well) Bravecto spot on (ticks as well) - for cats, in tablet form for dogs Stronghold Tablets: comfortis (will only kill fleas once) House spray: Indoorex There are many wormers available, best ask your vet what he recommends.

I would personally use one of the oral pills like Comfortis or Bravecto. I like Bravecto because it's newer and the fleas haven't been exposed to it yet so there is no resistance. It is also nice because one dose lasts 12 weeks. All the other products only last 4 weeks. https://us.bravecto.com/for-cats.aspx The Adams spray does not work for long term use and you are just dousing her chemicals every time you use it. It is not bad for spot treatment here and there but I would not use it all the time. I would recommend you use this Flea/tick mousse maybe 1-2x a week. It is easy to apply and not as "chemically" as the Adams Spray. It is more natural. https://www.chewy.com/vets-best-waterless-flea-tick-cat/dp/148050 Also, I know you said you treated the house which is great but I'm not sure what product you used so I will recommend one. You also need to treat the yard. I like this house spray. I find it works the best: https://www.chewy.com/virbac-knockout-es-area-treatment/d

If it is available, my best topical flea treatment for cats is Cheristin. It is very effective and kills fleas before they bite, which is helpful for cats with flea allergies since it is the bite they react to. Comfortis is a tablet that is also very effective, but it can cause vomiting.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I like Bravecto for flea and ticks. It is a topical that works for 3 months. Then I would use interceptor monthly for heartworm and intestinal parasites. Or you can use Advantage Multi and the Seresto collar for the ticks. But you are right there isn't a product that gets everything for dogs or cats. Have a great day!
