Hello! I am adopting a 6 yr old pit bull terrier and he needs to eat grain free. What are some good grain free dry foods that aren't going to break the bank? and also some grain free treats?
Every dog is a little different and you may have to experiment a bit to find the food that Roscoe tolerates the best. I don't know what your budget is, or what is specifically available in your area, but here are a few brand options: Natural Balance Taste of the Wild Merrick Canidae Most of these brands offer grain free treats as well. My dog Dexter is a rescue and although I don’t know much about his medical history, I’ve noticed he might have some trouble with his skin. A vet on this site (thank you Dr. Elizabeth from the U.S.) recommended I start giving him omega 3 fatty acids.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I definitely understand your concern. I do think it would be best to switch them to a regular diet. There are many types out there that are affordable and good. Hello. Will giving my dog dehydrated meat and pumpkin treats (as no more than 10% of her diet) unbalance her diet? Or is it best to stick to the royal canin specific treats? (Same brand as her kibble) thank you!
Hello, and thanks for your question. As long as Chloe tolerates the treats and they don't cause any GI upset, dehydrated meat and pumpkin treats are good options - just make sure she's still getting the majority of her calories from a complete and balanced food such as royal canin. Hope this helps!
