It's too early to know. Spraying generally occurs on a vertical surface where as inappropriate urination occurs on a horizontal surface. If Zeno has not yet been checked for a bladder infection, I recommend to have this done to help rule out a medical cause. If the veterinarian thinks this is behavioral, there are a few factors to adjust. Cats are sensitive to the type of litter, size of the box and location of the box. If you have more cats, you need 1 litter box per cat + 1 additional box. You should also have a litter box on every floor of the house. This article discusses different types of litter and litter boxes: https://www.petcoach.co/article/cat-litter-finding-the-right-fit-for-your-cat/ In general though, cats prefer large, uncovered litter boxes, clay-based clumping litter that is scoped every day and a private, quiet location. Hello. You can try Zylkene ( httpe://www,vetoquinolusa.com ) or ProPlan calming care ( https://www.proplanveterinarydiets.com/products/calming-care-dog-probiotic-supplement/ ). Hope one of these is helpful for Hachi. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Poor Zora! She does sound like a very anxious girl. If you would like to try a natural calming supplement of some kind, I would suggest Zylkene or Composure - both of these are very safe, and I have seen good results with them in some patients. You could also try a DAP pheromone collar as well, to see if this helps :)

Hi there. Yes, in general, Zylkene is a good choice for a natural calming supplement for dogs with anxiety. However, I would also say that if his anxiety is severe, it's unlikely that a natural supplement alone will make a significant difference. If you didn't feel that the fluoxetine worked well for him, I would suggest talking to your vet about trying a different medication - just as in humans, it often takes some trial and error to find the best choice for each individual patient. Some other daily meds that could be considered would include sertraline, paroxetine, clomipramine, trazodone, or clonidine.

I am sorry to hear about Zena. When a dog is continuing to display this behavior we become concerned there could be an internal issue. We can see this when a dog develops a stomach bloat or torsion, or having abdominal pain for another reason. I would recommend getting her into the vet as soon as possible. If her belly looks bloated or enlarged at all it is an absolute emergency.
