Thanks for reaching out about Zeplyn and including photos. The understanding is Petco will buy back with you being able to re-purchase. Check with them. Anorexia is often causes by intestinal parasites or infections, so a veterinary visit is recommended to assess and a diagnostic/treatment plan. Check and correct husbandry including temperature and gradient, UVB exposure, and diet. Good luck.

Hello. The veterinarians that do the vaccination clinics are not able to examine exotics, but many Petcos now have in-clinic facilities & it is possible that the veterinarian may be knowledgeable about RESs. I would call all the Petcos within your vicinity & see if there is anyone available to help, otherwise, you will need to find a vet that includes exotics in their practice. Check www.vetlocator.com to find one. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Customers under the age of 18 cannot purchase live Companion Animals or Aquatic Life without a parent or guardian present. (Excluding crickets and worms). Due to the demands of time and intricate care required with certain species, it is in the best interest of the animals to not sell to minors. Parental permission at time of sale will ensure a better home for the animal and lower our rate of return.

I would recommend feeding Tarzan a small salad of dark leafy greens on a daily basis, with calcium supplementation 2-3 times per week based on her age. I would also recommend protein 2 times per week based on her age as well. You eluded to having recommended temperatures in the cage, but I didn't see how you were monitoring the temperatures or if there was UVB light provided. I would recommend monitoring using a digital thermometer and changing the UVB light every 4-6 months. I am glad that she seemed to be doing okay at her vet visit in the fall. I didn't see if blood work was performed, but that is something that I recommend for every reptile at regular intervals for wellness examinations, as reptiles are very good at hiding th
