I just want to know if my tank looks ok and if I might need anything else. P.S. the temperature isn't as high because I just connected the lights because I was cleaning the tank. The grass is fake btw
Ideally, the UVB light source should run the entire length of the tank. A thermometer/hygrometer should be on each end of the tank to confirm cool and warm sides. Use a digital thermometer to verify temps. Those little ones you have can be inaccurate. Provide a hide on both sides as well. Personally, I would remove the fake grass as it has the potential to cause eye injuries. Your tank looks good otherwise.

In most cases, avascular necrosis occurs in toes or the tail. It could be AN, bacterial or fungal infection. An exam would be necessary for diagnosis. For now, provide the proper environment for Zilla, especially adequate humidity. lighting and heat. You can confirm proper environmental parameters using the link below. Daily soaks may help remove any stuck shed. Gently cleanse the area with a diluted betadine or chlorhexidine solution. If necessary, the veterinarian will need to debride the area to allow for healing. Hello. For the best health & living conditions for your anole, please only use products designed for them. Heating pads are dangerous & reptiles are not plants & require a very specific spectrum of light to grow in a healthy manner. Check the temperature an dlighting. Low temps can affect appetite and digestion in reptiles. Offer a biologically appropriate diet. This can include a commercial pelleted or stick diet, and being omnivorous, should also include insects, fresh fruit and vegetables. See your veterianrian or vet experienced in treating reptiles if she does not regain her appetite.
