Thank you for contacting Boop by Petco with your question about Grimmley. Unfortunately pesticides are needed to kill fleas, and I can give you the flea treatment program that I always use and is very effective. First, I would give him Capstar. It's a one time pill that starts killing fleas within 30 minutes. Then follow up with a spot on treatment, such as Advantage or Revolution. This is a treatment that has to be used once a month. You will also have to disinfect the environment. Wash his bedding in hot soapy water, and vacuum the furniture and carpet surfaces. You can use a spray to kill fleas in the house, such as Indorex, or a flea bomb would work well to kill the fleas in the home. I hope this helps!

It is very hard to say if they are fleas, harvest mites, ear mites or something else. The best thing to do will be getting a good flea treatment for Pebble (spot-on form will be the best). Many of good flea treatment products are also effective against harvest mites (for example fipronil, selamectin) or are effective against ear mites (Advocate). Please, get one of them from a pet shop or your vets and use on Pebble, it should help quickly.

Hello. You have asked a very good & very important question. Many times people think they do not need to treat an indoor pet for pests & parasites, but things can come into the house, like fleas on the dog before they have a chance to die from any treatments you use on the dog, to mosquitoes to even a tick coming in on you clothes. There are many very good products for cats. My personal favorites are [Bravecto]( https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/bravecto-plus-topical-solution-for-cats-63-138-lbs-single-2-month-dose) topical for cats & [Revolution Plus](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/revolution-plus-topical-solution-111-22lbs-cat). Both of these require a prescription from your veterinarian. If you want to use an over the counter product, then [Frontline Gold](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/frontline-gold-flea-and-tick-treatment-for-cats) or the [Seresto Collar](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/seresto-flea-and-tic

It's difficult to know what you are describing without seeing it, but I'm guessing it is either fleas, or lice that are causing the problems. Mites tend to be microscopic. There are fur mites that can be seen if you look close and long enough, but require magnification to see them well. In order to rid the cats and your environment of the infestation, you will first need to know what you are dealing with. For this, I recommend taking Titian to a veterinarian. They will be able to identify it and give the most effective treatment. You will also need to do some good environmental clean-up. Pay particular attention to dark areas (i.e. under furniture and bedding) when cleaning. For more information, I recommend you read the article at the link below. https://www.petcoach.co/article/5-tips-to-get-rid-of-fleas/ I hope that helps and you are able to solve this problem soon.

Hello, I suspect based on location and appearance flea dirt is highly likely. I would advise you to apply a monthly flea prevention to all of the pets. I recommend Revolution for cats. If you see fleas in the home, you should contact your local pest control company to discuss pet safe home treatment.
