The experts here on the forum at Boop by Petco do not work at Petco stores and I don't think anyone would have knowledge of inventory at local stores. I cannot find this particular product on the Petco website. It's possible that it's available at your local store and you could try giving them a call. Confirm proper environmental parameters, especially temperature. Low temps can affect appetite in reptiles and amphibians. Be sure you are offering appropriately sized prey as well. Nothing bigger than the space between the eyes. I would suggest you correct the type of pet you have in the information section. I don't think you have a tadpole if he hangs out with you on the desk. Knowing the species allows us to provide more accurate advice.

At worst, you may see some stomach upset (vomiting or diarrhea). Either can typically be managed at home with a short fast followed by a bland diet fed in small, frequent amounts until symptoms resolved.

Check the temperature in his enclosure. Low temps can affect appetite in reptiles. If he isn't eating or not exposed to high quality UVB lighting, he can become calcium deficient which could account for the tremors. If he is less than 30 inches long, confirm a basking temp of around 115 F. If he is bigger, bump basking temp to between 125 F and 135 F. Multiple lower wattage lights over a larger area are recommended over one high intensity light source. Try to get him to eat and offer a calcium supplement. If you can get a liquid supplement, that would be best right now. Zoo Med and Fluker's offer such a supplement.Soak him in a warm 50/50 solution of water and unflavored PediaLyte to treat or prevent minor dehydration. if he doesn't eat or if the tremors worsen, have him examined by your veterinarian or a vet experienced in treating reptiles as soon as possible.

Ideally, she should be physically examined by your veterinarian, at the nearest veterinary ER or by a vet experienced in treating reptiles. If this is not possible, get her under a heat lamp to start warming her up. You can also soak her in a warm 50/50 solution of water and unflavored PediaLyte for 15-20 minutes. Afterwards, clean the tail stump with a diluted Betadine or chlorhexidine (Hibiclens) solution. Dab a bit of triple antibiotic ointment on it after each cleaning. Clean it gently once daily and dry thoroughly afterwards. Keep her on paper towels and change it daily. Pick up some Fluker's Repta Boost and use that to feed her initially. When she is more active, you can introduce prey slowly. She may eventually regrow her tail. Even with care, she may not recover.
